They say there’s no place like home for the holidays.
But for those of us in travel, home can take on an exotic, faraway form.
I’m writing this blog from Myanmar, where we’re launching a beautiful new ship and thrilling itinerary. Our new all-suite AmaPura will cruise the Ayeyarwady River through an ancient land only recently reopened to outsiders.
Myanmar is the newest chapter in our AmaWaterways story. I look forward to telling you much more about this wondrous land of temples, pagodas and golden stupas.
As we cruise from Yangon to Mandalay and legendary Bagan; I’ll think of family, friends and colleagues back home. We’ve so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving week!

In Europe, you’ll find our chefs working especially hard to prepare a home-style Thanksgiving dinner on board. It’s our way of thanking you for your loyalty and repeat business.
