Day 2
HOI AN
This morning, join a walking tour through the ancient town of Hoi An. Nestled on the banks of the Thu Bon River, Hoi An was a center of trade throughout the 16th century. During your tour, you will see the iconic Japanese Bridge, admire the elegant Tan Ky House, and marvel at the vibrant Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, each offering a glimpse into the town's diverse cultural heritage. Then, roll your sleeves up and participate in a hands-on cooking class that will teach you the unique art of Vietnamese cuisine. Afterwards, savor the flavors of the dishes you prepared during lunch. This UNESCO-designated city is renowned for its candle-lit lanterns which illuminate the town after dark. This evening, you will be invited to share your light as you participate in a floating lantern ceremony* along the banks of the Hoi An River. (B,L)
