AMAWATERWAYS APPOINTS DONNA COOK AS DIRECTOR, STRATEGIC INITIATIVES

Calabasas, CA - (Oct. 17, 2017) - AmaWaterways is pleased to announce the appointment of Donna Cook to the newly created position of Director, Strategic Initiatives. Reporting to Chief Marketing Officer, Jerre Fuqua, Cook will be working on a variety of new programs to evaluate and improve the performance of strategic marketing and sales initiatives.

“Over the past several years, AmaWaterways has experienced tremendous sales growth and we feel the time is perfect to reinforce the existing team of specialists we have in place,” said Fuqua. “We have exciting plans to grow our current fleet of 20 award-winning ships and Donna is going to be a terrific asset as we step up our marketing initiatives to drive valuable sales leads to our travel partners.”

A Philadelphia native with a master’s degree in Organizational Development from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, Cook brings more than 20 years of experience in both public and private sectors. Cook joins AmaWaterways after 14 years with Crystal Cruises in several roles in sales and operations, most recently as Vice President Quality Control and Communications.
