An exciting Spring – AmaMagna, Loyalty Appreciation Month and Network TV spots

I am very appreciative to be living during a very special time when the desire, ability and resources to travel and discover the world have never been greater. It’s never been more exciting and rewarding for me to be part of the travel industry helping people realize their dream vacations. And while there are so many wonderful options available, river cruising is considered one of the fastest growing and most popular vacations as people search for more immersive and truly personalized ways to experience a destination.

May started off with a bang with the launch of AmaMagna! (A picture is worth a thousand words so with the photos below, I would like to share 6,000 words about the glorious AmaMagna and her four new restaurants). The ship represents the realization of Rudi’s dream to deliver a truly remarkable river cruise experience that would wow our loyal repeat guests and appeal to a whole new market of luxury ocean cruisers who did not believe that river cruising could meet their needs for ultra-spacious accommodations and a variety of wonderful dining experiences… that has all changed with the arrival of AmaMagna on the Danube!

Our repeat guests really appreciate that river cruising seems to double their vacation time by taking them right to the heart of the destination and providing so many different ways to experience what the region has to offer. The launch of AmaMagna offers our loyal guests yet another new way of experiencing all that the Danube region has to offer. With our Loyalty Appreciation Month announced for November, we are hoping to welcome many returning guests onboard the six specially selected cruises – including the November 17th AmaMagna sailing. We have set up a separate Facebook page (AmaWaterways Loyalty Cruises) to keep everyone updated on the news related to the special offers and exclusive events planned during these cruises.

Also in May, we were very excited to launch our first network TV spots on NBC. The 15 and 30 second ads, plus longer digital content to be filmed on AmaMagna in June, will help introduce AmaWaterways brand of river cruising to even more people. The ads are available to watch on our website.

This has been an exciting year so far for AmaWaterways as we continue to lead the river cruise industry with innovations like our Wellness Hosts, the addition of more plant-forward menus, the removal of plastic straws on all our ships and the introduction of new technology to be even more fuel efficient. With upgrades to myAmaCruise app, the onboard entertainment centers and wifi service, we continue to innovate in the way we communicate with our guests and their travel advisors before, during and after their cruise.
